Cherry will release a modified version of the Stream keyboard

A new version of the Stream keyboard, designed to equip office PCs, has expanded the line of Cherry peripherals. According to the developers, the changes made it possible to make it more convenient and quiet compared to the previous modification.

The new Stream keyboard has scissor-mounted microswitches (SX scissor). Thanks to refinement, they provide high accuracy and maximum comfort when typing, and in addition, they practically do not create noise even with intensive use – which is especially important when equipping workplaces in open-plan offices.

In addition to the standard set of 104 keys, the Stream model has ten additional buttons for controlling volume and a software media player, as well as for quick access to applications. CapsLock, NumLock, and ScrollLock light indicators are integrated into the caps of the corresponding keys.

The basis of the design is a metal frame that provides high strength and reliability. Eight rubber pads on the bottom of the case prevent the keyboard from moving across the work surface during use. Two folding legs allow you to change the angle of inclination.

According to the designers, a flat case with a laconic design helps reduce user fatigue during prolonged use.

The keyboard is designed for connection to a USB port and does not require the installation of specific drivers.

The new version of the Stream model will go on sale before the end of this month and will be available in two color options: black and white. The retail price in the EU will be about 30 euros.
