Introduced The Cheapest E-Book With Big E Ink Screen

PocketBook introduced the new e-book PocketBook X, which became the cheapest device with a large screen on electronic ink. The model received a 10.3-inch E Ink Carta-display with a resolution of 1404 x 1872 pixels. SMARTlight technology provides maximum reading comfort in any light, automatically adjusting the brightness and color temperature of the screen.

You can change the brightness and color tone on your own, and without looking up from the page – you just need to drag your finger along the side of the display. PocketBook X supports 19 book, 4 graphic (JPEG, BMP, PNG and TIFF) and 3 audio formats (MP3, M4B and OGG) files. The device feeds a 2000 mAh battery, providing up to 30 days on a single charge.

Thanks to 32 GB of internal memory, the novelty can store up to 15,000 books without illustrations in EPUB format. There are built-in dictionaries with the ability to translate any word highlighted in the book. The novelty will go on sale next month. The PocketBook X reader is priced at 24,999 rubles. It seems far from cheap, but in fact for a 10-inch device it is almost for nothing. For example, an electronic book of the same format ONYX BOOX Note Pro is estimated at 46,990 rubles:
