A month ago, we launched a contest in which we invited readers to share useful experiences of “communication” with technology. We received more than 30 applications, but, as usual, we were unable to contact someone (maybe they indicated the e-mail incorrectly), someone did not dare to send the text, we, unfortunately, didn’t send a couple of articles managed to publish.
Nevertheless, as promised, we sum up.
1st place: Leader of views
The main prize, a Motorola Moto G7 Power smartphone with a 6.2 ″ large screen, an NFC module, a 5000 mAh battery and support for fast charging technology, is awarded to Elena, author of the article “How to Improve the Cellular Signal”. In the first 10 days after publication, this article collected 34,202 views, thus becoming a leader by a wide margin from other applicants. They started reproaching us in advance that we didn’t provide for any counteraction to the “markups” in the competition, but still we have neither Eurovision nor Voice – not the size of the prize to engage in fraud. In addition, we see that traffic to this material is still high – that is, people are interested in reading it. Accordingly, there are no "cheats" here.
2nd place: Editors' Choice
Yes, here is such a subjective nomination, not related to the number of readings. Most of all we liked Sergey’s material, “How I Assembled a PC in the Case of an Old VCR”. We always encourage fresh ideas and do-it-yourself work, so we are pleased to present the winner with a Smarterra SmartLife AURA smart watch with protection against water and dust according to IP67, as well as the ability to measure blood pressure and calculate the level of blood oxygen saturation.
3rd place: Readers' Choice
The author was to win this nomination, whose article the readers recognize as the most useful: at the end of each material we posted a survey. Strictly speaking, the same Elena won: by the time of summing up the results of 2005, people considered her advice useful. But we decided not to give two prizes to one reader, so we give away the Smarterra FitMaster 4 smart bracelet to Sergey (no, this is not the one who got the watch), the author of the fascinating opus “How I replaced the head unit with an Android model and immediately upgraded it.” His article was positively rated by 816 readers, and this is the second result.
We congratulate all the winners and ask them to inform their name and contact phone number at the same address where you sent the texts. Many thanks to everyone who participated in the contest! All the works that we published can be found here.
This contest has become the third one for readers, and we are sure that it makes sense to think about preparing the next one. We invite everyone to prepare interesting topics, and manufacturers of smartphones and other equipment to become sponsors of our future competition by providing prizes (write to [email protected] with the topic "Readers Contest").
