Speaker 1: Lenovo has announced a bunch of new business laptops for mobile world Congress this year, including two of its smallest new models. The think book 13 S gen four, I and the ThinkPad X 13 S gen one, two laptops with very similar names, but likely very different buyers.

Speaker 1: Now the think book 13 S is Lenovo’s thinnest and lightest think book ever. And its body is all [00:00:30] metal and mill spec tested it’s meant for the SMB market, but it’ll start around $850 when it arrives in April. At that price, it could all also be good for students or anyone who wants something small and sturdy that weighs under three pounds. It can be configured with up to a 12th gen Intel core I seven processor, 32 gigs of memory, and up to one terabyte SSD, you can also get it with wifi six E and a full HD [00:01:00] webcam with a privacy like the rest of Lenovo’s business laptops. The think book 13 S made jump to a 16, 10 aspect ratio display. And this one is a 13.3 inch model with a 25 60 by 1600 resolution. Since this one is Intel based, the last one was AMD.

Speaker 1: This one is Intel and its us C ports are Thunderbolt for, and you also get an HTMI out. So it’s perfect [00:01:30] for hoteling or hot desking. So you can just connect a display or more with a single connection, or you can pair it with Lenovo’s own new think vision, M 14 D that’s a portable 2.2 K 14 inch 16, 10 USBC display that’s tilt and height adjustable and mountable. If you need that. And it only weighs a little over a pound. That means your total travel weight with the display and the think book 13 [00:02:00] S is just around four pounds. Now, speaking of lightweight, here’s the all new ThinkPad X 13 S gen one, which Lenovo says is the first true business windows on Snapdragon laptop. It’s been in development for four years with Qualcomm and Microsoft, and is running on the Snapdragon eight CX gen three compute platform, which it says has an 85% CPU and 60% GPU [00:02:30] improvement from the last gen chips.

Speaker 1: Now past laptops that we’ve tested with snap, dragon chips like this, they’ve always been super thin and light and great on battery life, but processing performance has always been pretty. So it would be fantastic if these performance promises actually hold up and it’s still expected to be great on battery life. Uh, Lenovo says it’ll run for up to 28 hours and because this runs more like a phone than a typical laptop, [00:03:00] it’s got a fan less design with a thin 13 millimeter body made from 90% recycled magnesium and a weight that’s under two and a half pounds. There are some other nice extras, like a five megapixel webcam and IR cam for face recognition and wifi six E plus it’ll support 5g millimeter wave or sub six or 4g LTE. So this is something you’re going to want to work on everywhere all the [00:03:30] time. Now look for the Lenovo ThinkPad X 13 S to start shipping in may, uh, starting at 1090 $9. And it’ll be available in the us from at and T and from Verizon also later this year,
