GoPro has launched a livestreaming platform for GoPro Plus subscribers, so they can stream directly from their cameras to their accounts on GoPro’s website. The streaming videos won’t be publicly accessible.
“GoPro Plus subscribers can now livestream from their GoPro camera to their account at GoPro.com, text the livestream link to their family and friends, and boom … they’re live,” CEO Nicholas Woodman said in a release on Thursday.
The livestreaming service will be available for the Hero 8 Black, Hero 7 Black and Max cameras.
The company didn’t immediately respond to a request for further comment.
